Success4All Awarded £5,000 Grant From UK Youth To Help Tackle Digital Divide

We are delighted to announce that Success4All has received a £5,000 grant from UK Youth.

The grant will go towards providing IT equipment to ten beneficiaries, two staff, as well as covering the costs of our online youth & club sessions.

It is widely reported that the north-east has one of the highest digital exclusion rates in the UK, with a lack of equipment and digital skills often being referenced as one of the key barriers.

This grant will provide ten households in the north-east with a Chromebook and an opportunity to develop & gain essential 21st-century digital skills.

Caroline Afolabi-Deleu, Founding Director of Success4All, said: “This fund will enable us to purchase a further 12 laptops. This will be of tremendous help in keeping our young people connected to the online world and in delivering our sessions in a blended way.”

To fight educational inequality, Success4All runs Learning Hubs, Clubs and Summer Schools across the region, enabling children to achieve their full potential.
