ACCELERATE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY AMONG PUPILS WITH ENGLISH AS AN ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE

At Success4All, we understand the unique needs of pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL), and we’re here to turn those challenges into opportunities for growth and empowerment.

By working with schools and teachers, we support EAL children and young people to reach their full potential.

Whether integrated into your classroom as an in-class intervention or offered as part of an enriching after-school programme, our expert EAL team is ready to deliver bespoke, engaging, and interactive lessons.

ABOUT OUR EAL IN SCHOOL SERVICE

Born out of a genuine commitment to serve our community, our pioneering ‘EAL In School’ service is dedicated to delivering impactful & cost-effective support to schools across the North East.

Our expertly designed lessons accelerate English language learning and develop pupils’ independent study skills.

To ensure that pupils & schools get the most out of our service, we deliver our ‘EAL In School’ service in consecutive annual or intensive blocks.

With over a decade of experience, our EAL team specialises in supporting newly arrived children and young people with varying English proficiency levels. We take pride in our proven track record of supporting EAL pupils and providing them with additional opportunities that enable them to thrive academically and socially.

Our EAL service is designed to seamlessly integrate with the curriculum, focusing on developing essential writing, speaking, and listening skills. Our approach encourages pupils to develop independent study skills.

We understand the importance of tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of each pupil, which is why we take a holistic approach to teaching English.

Our team’s lived experiences bring a relatable perspective to our service, helping pupils envision a future for themselves even in seemingly challenging situations. This connection fosters a supportive environment where students can flourish.

At Success4All, our EAL services’ mission goes beyond just accelerating English skills. We are committed to instilling confidence in students, fostering pride in their mother tongue and culture, and guiding them towards achieving their goals and aspirations.

Oscar Gates, Children's Services

“It is vital that new migrants who are trying to settle into new communities and schools are offered local, extracurricular learning.”

Oscar Gates, Children's Services

“S4A have had a major impact on the achievements of our EAL students and contributed to the fact that one year, our school’s EAL pupils achieved better exam results than any other Newcastle secondary school.”

Don Burbeck, Deputy Head at Walker Technology College

“Success4All has been an absolute bonus not just to the students in this school, but to the wider community.”

Mr Jones, Teacher at Walker Riverside Academy

“Caroline Afolabi was great, offering lots of good services and something we didn’t have up until then, particularly around sort of EAL students. It’s made a huge impact on their ability to succeed at school and beyond school. They really opened the eyes of our students. It really gives the kids that opportunity to be themselves and to develop because otherwise, I think without Success4All some of our kids would be lost.”

Miss Carmichael, Assistant Headteacher at Walker Riverside Academy
