At Success4All we’ve been trying out hand at making some Jam! Give it a go and let us know how you got on.
350g fresh fruit (not pulped, just chopped)
350g light brown sugar (although you can use ordinary sugar too)
1 teaspoon of lemon or lime juice (I used the concentrated one)
Slow cook for 1hr. Then let if cool off for a while. But not until it becomes stiff.
Pour it into the jam jars. Let it cool off further until it becomes stiff. If it’s too hot outside, you can let it cool off in the fridge.
I put a piece of wax paper on top them for preservation and closed the lid. Write the date on and store in the fridge or in a cool place.
Et voila. Simple really. You could also substitute the fresh fruit for frozen fruit or tinned fruit (drained). Although fresh fruit is best.
