Interested in discovering more about coding, programming and technology?

Our Code Clubs offers children and young people the opportunity to explore the world of coding and computers, whilst having fun.

At Code Club, children and young people learn how to code using a variety of tools and programming languages including Scratch, HTML/CSS and Python.  We will also learn how to control and play with LEGO robots, create controllers out of Picoboards and make portable games & gadgets with BBC micro:bit

We encourage our budding coders to explore and experiment with code and technology, learn at their own pace and share their findings with their peers.

Discovering what goes on behind your favourite games and websites can be very exciting. Code Club enables young people to explore programming skills whilst developing essential life skills. We may even be preparing the next generation of technological geniuses!

Code Club is attended by children and young people with a range of ages and abilities, from 8 years old (primary school year 4) to 16 (secondary school year 11).

The sessions are run on various dates and locations around Newcastle and all held after 4 pm. All locations are accessible by public transport.
