FOR US TO BE AMAZING, WE NEED AN AMAZING TEAM DRIVING US FORWARD

One of our regular vacancies is becoming a Learning Hub Coordinator.

Our Hub Coordinators have a passion for working with children and young people in an educational setting.

Your main responsibility will be to intellectually and emotionally support those in your Hub, by creating a safe and homely learning environment, where they can do their homework, work independently, prepare for exams or take part in a club.

A great Hub coordinator has excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to children as well as young people and their parents/carers whilst managing a team of volunteers and maintaining relationships with the community centre or school.

Take a look below to see what our Learning Hub Coordinator, Eve Brennan, has to say.

If you would like more information about setting up a Learning Hub, please get in touch.

WHAT YOU SAY

Being a Learning Hub Coordinator has fitted into my life perfectly. I am a Mum to a little boy and looking after the Slatyford and Throckley Hub has allowed me to spend time him during his early years, whilst still keeping my hand into education and working with young people which ultimately is my passion. I get to see children and young people in our hubs grow – in their academic understanding but also in their social skills, confidence and enjoyment in their study.’
