‘Young People Learning From Each Other’

Following the WEYDA Project launch earlier in the term (see link for more information http://www.s4a.org.uk/a-new-community-resource-given-to-us-by-our-west-end-young-digital-artists/) the group have kept practising an important entrepreneurial skill – public speaking!

The group visited the Blakelaw Learning Hub at the end of term to present their project to the children and young people and their parents, volunteers and Blakelaw Neighbourhood Centre staff. They spoke about what got them all interested in the WEYDA project and what it has done for them so far, the reasons behind the project and the group’s future aspects. Not only do occasions such as these allow their confidence to grow, but learning can interlink between the learning hubs not just within each individual learning hub, expanding our motto ‘Young People Learning From Each Other’.

The Blakelaw children and young people also got to showcase their Easter project – a giant Easter Bunny! The last week of term was full of Easter activities such as decorating eggs and biscuits!
