The Key award ceremony

On Wednesday the 17th of February two of Success for All’s Key groups were nominated for the ‘Keyed into … Awesomeness’ awards. The Key wants to create a world where young people believe in their own ideas and can take responsibility for them. Yesterday they held the ‘Keyed into… Awesomeness’ event to celebrate the achievements of the young people who have taken part in Key projects during 2015. There were eight categories for the awards: The Key Community Champions, The Key Inspirational Group, The Key Panel Innovators, The Key Super Evaluators, The Key Innovative Group, The Key Best Group Name, The Key Facilitator of the Year and The Key Group of 2015.

Our Hipsta Chix where nominated for The Key Super Evaluators award. The nomination was for their creative make-up, hair and photography blog they wrote for their second project. Sofia, Shannon and Natalie were super excited to be nominated and they came dressed to impress! At the event they very much enjoyed the spread of sweets laid out for them on the tables.

Our second group was Iballisticsquid, who were nominated for The Key Best Group Name. Ben and Olivia were very nervous about going up and possibly having to do an acceptance speech!

Though none of the groups won, they all enjoyed the food and entertainment from ‘Faces of Disco’ who were runners up in Britain’s Got Talent 2009. All in all it was a great award ceremony, where our two S4A groups had a fantastic time!
